  • Excavation and post-excavation analysis of an Anglo-Saxon cemetery and Iron Age site in advance of redevelopment at St. Anne's Road, Eastbourne, East Sussex, for Prowting Homes.


  • Mapping and excavation of a Romano-British salt-working site, at Lydd Quarry, Kent, for Brett Gravels Ltd.

  • Excavations, watching briefs and analysis of multi-period sites at the former Hawkinge Aerodrome and other nearby developments, near Folkestone, Kent, for various clients.


  • Watching brief and excavation on the site of a new power station and associated pipeline at Kingsnorth on the Isle of Grain, Kent, for Entergy Power Group. Extensive remains dating from the Bronze Age were discovered, including evidence for Romano-British pottery production.


  • An archaeological and historic landscape study of Castle Hill, Newhaven, for East Sussex County Council. The site is dominated by military remains of Post-Medieval and modern date.


  • An archaeological and historic landscape study of the Bodiam Castle estate, East Sussex, for the National Trust.

  • An archaeological survey of Hastings Castle for Hastings Borough Council.


  • An extensive urban survey and reinterpretation of Winchelsea, East Sussex, for English Heritage, the National Trust and East Sussex County Council. In Medieval times Winchelsea was a major planned Royal port.


  • Building recording and excavations at Westenhanger Castle, Folkestone, Kent, for G. Forge (Engineering) Ltd. and English Heritage.


  • Excavations at Brisley Farm, Ashford, Kent, for Ward Homes. Finds included a Romano-British cremation cemetery, an early Post-Medieval farmstead and extensive Iron Age occupation.


  • The excavation and post-excavation analysis of a Bronze Age barrow at Crowlink, East Sussex, for the National Trust, English Heritage and East Sussex County Council

  • Excavations and watching briefs on the Polegate Bypass, East Sussex, for the Highways Agency and Miller Civil Engineering. Discoveries include a thirteenth/fourteenth century farmstead.


  • The excavation and post-excavation analysis of a Bronze Age barrow at Crowlink, East Sussex, for the National Trust, English Heritage and East Sussex County Council.


  • Evaluation and excavation of a Neolithic causewayed enclosure and, to the north, a Late Bronze Age enclosure, at Kingsnorth Farm, Eastchurch, Isle of Sheppey, Kent, for Jones Homes.


  • Building recording and watching brief at the Vine Brewhouse, Hampshire, for the National Trust.


  • Detailed building recording at Headstone Manor, Pinner, Middlesex, for the London Borough of Harrow.

  • Evaluation and excavation of Romano-British farmstead and Bronze Age landscape at Angmering, West Sussex, for CGMS Consulting and a development consortium.
