Research Interests
• The manufacture and production of pottery, especially Roman
pottery.
• Collaborating with forensic science officers on a project matching
Roman fingerprints left on samian vessels.
• Researching the distribution of graffiti on samian in London
and Southwark.
Professional Skills
• Spot-dating of prehistoric and Roman pottery assemblages.
• Preparation of evaluation, analysis and publication reports
for prehistoric and Roman pottery assemblages.
• Contributing to Updated Project Designs (UPDs) for research
projects.
• Managing the deposition of completed site archives with local
museums.
• Management of the processing of all finds from Archaeology South-East
sites.
• Programming of multiple post-excavation assessments and analysis
projects involving liaison with specialists, project managers
and the post-excavation programme manager to coordinate specialist
workloads with project needs.
