Education
and Outreach
With 25 professional staff involved in commercial operations,
and 90 academic staff offering expert consultancy, we deliver
the highest standards in archaeological services, public outreach,
heritage presentation and training through the Centre
for Applied Archaeology.
We provide open days, historic events and re-enactments, outreach
events for communities and schools, and educational resources,
from design to implementation. In addition, we offer professional
consultancy on outreach and education policies, and can organize
training courses, workshops and conferences.

Planning and Consultancy
• Formulate education and outreach policies for archaeological
units, heritage sites/organisations, museums and local/county
archaeological societies.
• Research areas to operate in for archaeological units, heritage
sites/organisations, museums and local/county archaeological societies
• Suggest services/staff/resources and provide costings for archaeological
units, heritage sites/organisations, museums and local/county
archaeological societies
• Evaluation of educational programmes/resources and recommendations
for improvement.
